A Brand New Year!

Sometimes a writer will take a few days, a few weeks, even a few months to regroup and reestablish a goal.

I have been in this sort of mood for quite a while now and have decided it is time to re-emerge into the world of words.

Upkeep of a brand is hard, especially if one has no ‘brand’ that has one firmly established in a field. Am I a writer? An aspiring writer? Do blogs and websites count towards my goals? Gee, can I even write or am I just fishing for a vocation I’ve dreamed of having?

No one can tell me that answer but me. I do want to write and I have things I want to share. I have a vivid imagination and a love of books of all genres. I’ve planted myself in front of a typewriter, a word processor or a computer through the years to put my words on paper. I’ve produced chapters and chapters of words. Surprise! I am my own worst critic!

So, I am back at the keyboard and feeling renewed. Feeling productive and feeling happy. Happy, that is one thing I have always felt with books and with writing……and that is enough to spur me on to becoming published. Keep me in your thoughts….

It may be February, but this girl’s words are taking blossom!
